Description

One day a yellow balloon flies out of a child’s room. From that moment
on, we accompany him on his adventure. We watch him peek through
puddles, look into the kindergarten, admire the city from on high, fly
over forests, mountains and oceans. The balloon floats even higher and farther!
Will it touch the stars? Will he see a comet?
“Bye, bye Balloon!” will familiarize the reader what near-far means. Home, neighborhood, city, country, continent. It is an illustrated guide to the surroundings, training perceptiveness and memory. Learning and fun.

Author

Agata Loth-Ignaciuk was born in 1973 in Warsaw, Poland. She is the founder and editor-in-chief of Druganoga Publishing House.

In 1996, she was awarded a Master of Business Administration from the University of Warsaw and in 1998, received an Associate of Applied Sciencedegree in Graphic Design from the Parsons School of Design in New York. Back in Warsaw, she continued her education, obtaining a Master of Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, graduating in set design.

Agata worked for several years across various disciplines: costume designer, art director in advertising (Bates Poland) and graphic designer in Edipresse Poland at Przekrój Magazine, where her main interest was content and editorial design. During this time, her interest in writing and illustrating books for children continued to evolve.
In 2016, she launched her own publishing house for children - Druganoga. Her diverse education and experience allowed her to understand both the creative and business side of publishing. Although relatively new to the publishing market, Druganoga authors and illustrators have received several prizes, including the Bologna Ragazzi Award Special Mention for Non-fiction, the Green Island Award at Nami Concours, the Ibby Poland Distinction for Graphic Design, and the Gourmand Award for the 3 Best in the World Children’s Cookbooks . Books published by Druganoga have been published in several countries.
