Review

“The challenge of growing up and the invisibility of old age – the two poles of human life made into one whole that is usually full of holes and space filled with indifference – that’s the picture emerging from the newest offering by Roksana Jędrzejewska-Wróbel.” – Hanna Diduszko, New Books.

“A very interesting offering about intergenerational relationships, which, although difficult and challenging to our comfort zone, can be a hope, a safety valve, and a signpost leading us out of a dangerous labyrinth.” – Agnieszka Karp-Szymańska, Newsweek Extra.

“Oh, did this book charm me... With its story, its language, everything. And how many treasures are to be found here (…). State of Entanglement is a book so authentic, so true, so unpretentious that it
goes deep into my heart.” – Przemek Staroń, psychologist, educator, author, Teacher of the Year 2018.

Initially it’s only about chalking up extra credits for admission to high school. It quickly turns out, however, that everyday encounters with seniors aren’t a disagreeable duty, but a fascinating adventure – a voyage to an unknown world that social media knows little about.
