Review

‘[Jess’s social work background] shines through in the way that complex topics are made accessible throughout the narrative. It’s uplifting, realistic and I think it would really help a lot of young readers recognise their uniqueness.’ – One More Page podcast

‘Another fabulous book by Jess Sanders has come my way. Jess has written a book that explores moments in childhood that can make one feel they are not enough! …. Well done Jess – another must [have] book for homes, ECEs, schools and libraries.’ – Maggie Dent

Description

You are not too little,
and you are not too much.
You are, actually, exactly enough.

If you have ever felt like you are not good enough, smart enough, or popular enough, you are not alone.

This book is for any child who needs a reminder that they’re enough, just as they are.

From the award-winning author of Love Your Body and Be Your Own Man comes Life Lessons for Little Ones: a new series that contains life’s most important lessons, such as embracing vulnerability, listening to your body and embracing your uniqueness – teachings that every child (and their grown-up!) deserves to hear.

Author

Jess Sanders(Author)
Jess Sanders is a social worker, podcast host and best-selling, award-winning author. Jess has a passion for creating resources that nurture positive mental health and promote gender equality. Every project she pursues is born from the question, ‘Why does it have to be this way?’.
Jess’s first book, Love Your Body is the perfect example of this. The book, which was originally crowd-funded through Kickstarter, was born from Jess’s refusal to accept that every girl is destined to grow up disliking her body. Jess has since published Me Time: a self-care guide to being your own best friend and the follow up to Love Your Body for boys, Be Your Own Man which supports boys to redefine what it means to be a boy, and a man.

Ocean Hughes(Illustrator)
Ocean Hughes is a Children’s book illustrator, packaging designer and ceramicist, based in Wales, UK. Ocean has illustrated many wonderful children’s books since joining forces with Plum Pudding Illustration Agency. She loves bringing stories to life through her illustration and hopes to one day be able to author one of her own books!
