Description

When the sun rises, the rays of the sun warm everything and tint them with brilliant colours. When night falls, the moon is in charge. In the forest, a group of elves called the Tuconis are the guardians of the day, and the moths, the magicians, are the guardians of the night. In the centre of the forest, around the tall sycamore tree, they create a magical blanket that shields them from the sun (which moths are afraid of). However, the book is not just about their friendship. Between dusk and dawn, the rustling of leaves and the twinkling of stars hide the secrets of ancient magic...

Little Moth Grey lives in Heather Meadows and is terrified of daylight, so she has to hide in the bushes during the day and only comes out to play when it's dark. She longs for the outside world and wishes she could see for herself the different shapes and colours of the leaves, but she never dares to leave the meadow. Grey always thought she was the only moth in the world and knew that one night she met another moth called Boramine. He told Grey that in the centre of the forest, far away, there was a tall sycamore tree that was home to all the moths, and that all the moths were wizards! They have magic that Grey never dreamed of - no more fear of the sun.

To master this marvellous magic, Grey and Poramin embark on an adventure. What will happen to Grey, who has never left the meadow before? Will she finally learn the magic of not being afraid of the sun?
