Description
Rosa Mamani, a girl descended from Aymara indigenous people, returns to the Quebrada de Humahuaca (in the Argentine Northwest) where her ancestors lived. There, in front of a single external figure Rosa, she reveals her story, in a crescendo of events, memories and emotions. Rosa Mamani is a character both fragile and strong, deeply marked by the events that convulsed her family: the tragic death of her father, the confrontation with her mother and sister, poverty, discrimination, resentment ... but returning to the place of origin, she constructs, through words and artisan work (the glazes or patinas that give the book its title) a shocking story about her search for identity.
