Description
An American geologist, Don Swanson, disproved a dominant theory of volcanoes after reading the love affairs of Hawaiian gods. A musician poet, Fabrizio De André, sang the chemist that no, he did not want to marry. One writer, Stefan Zweig, has reinterpreted the metaphor of love at first sight in a story that is a masterpiece of sensuality. An English mathematician, Peter Backus, calculated the probability of finding a girlfriend ... and soon after he found her. A young Japanese man, Akihiko Kondo, has joined in marriage with a hologram. A book, this book, tells of the curiosities that link love to science with poetic, sentimental or humorous tones from time to time, because love, like science, always has different shades.
