Description

Let us follow Leonardo Fibonacci, one of the greatest Italian scholars of all time, during his apprenticeship in Béjaïa, North Africa, where he encountered the extraordinary Indian numeral system. Through a tale blending imagination and historical rigor, we discover the fascination of knowledge transmission, cultural encounters, and the birth of modern scientific thought.

From the school of Béjaïa to the history of mathematics: the young Fibonacci and the revolution of numbers. An illustrated book to discover how the digits we use every day come from far away.

An educational tool for curious young readers.
