Iban Barrenetxea has recently started to illustrate books, he has alread y been mentioned by El cultural (El Mundo supplement) as an indispensable children illustrator and his work has also been reviewed by Babelia (El País supplement) and awarded the Biennial of Illustration of Bratislava 2011, Euskadi Literary Awards 2012 & 2013, as well has having been shortlisted for Junceda Award and Korean CJ Picture Book Awards.
