Here you find a small encyclopaedia, playful and instructive, in order to get to know objects of past and present times and learn about their technic and formal development. Teaching where our daily life objects come from, this book allows establishing ties to the past. The young ones discover how design, fashion, scientific progress, and social practice modify objects that seem to be unchangeable. The book raises also the question of ecologic impact. The illustrations in data design enhance the chronological evolution of the objects showing the astounding shapes that they may have adopted and their variations in size. At the age of 14 she discovered the Gobelins school in a television report and it was a real crush: it was decided that she would study at this school. After a preparatory course in art, she managed to get into the school of her dreams. She graduated in 2005 and is currently working as a senior art director in a Parisian digital agency. At the same time, she is an illustrator for children's publishing, advertising, press and data visualization.
