KATIA HUESO

Katia Hueso was born in Madrid on a scorching 14th of July and, perhaps because of that, she has always sought refuge in nature. She studied biology in Leiden (Netherlands), is mother of three daughters and works as a consultant and university professor in the fields of environment, protection of natural areas and sustainability. After becoming a mother, in 2011, she founded the Outdoor Playing Group Saltamontes [Grasshoppers] with two colleagues, Spain s first outdoors children's school. She is also the author of We are Nature, published by Plataforma Editorial in 2017.
