Description

The situation of the world is serious: climate crisis and galloping loss of species, screaming social injustices and violations of human rights, increasing right-wing populism and national solo efforts. In order to avert the impending civilizational and ecological collapse, we need a new social contract that is gender and generation-friendly and that creates fair working and living conditions worldwide. This is exactly what the Green New Deal promises. The concept, based on Roosevelt's New Deal, wants to modernize the industrial society ecologically through a fundamental policy change. - Can it succeed?
