Description

Puntino is a seven-year-old boy visiting the Uffizi Gallery in Florence. Finding himself at the museum in front of Botticelli's Spring, he approaches the painting and receives a drop of color on his cheek. Suddenly he sees the work of art melt and finds himself inside. His pelouche-shaped backpack returns to life, as it had already happened in the first story and becomes Sbuccia, a faithful friend and companion of adventures. The two protagonists then meet Botticelli in person, who will explain who he is and show them the Florence of the era in which he was painting the famous Spring.

Author

Francesca Pascale
After graduating from the major of cultural heritage, she has worked in the art field for many years. She loves exhibition teaching and stage setting very much and has been devoted to providing help for children and teenagers in artistic enlightenment. How, she wondered, could children learn that our world is so rich in artistic treasures? Therefore, she tries to start from various art related fields, especially her current study of education, so that children can feel the profound significance of art painting, understand art more widely and develop interest in art. With extensive experience in the field of modern art and in the field of art education, she came up with the idea of creating a series of art enlightenment books, telling the past lives of artists and their works through interesting time and space adventures.
