Maxim Gureev:
  Maxim Gureev is a prose writer, essayist, screenwriter, journalist, director of documentaries and feature films, photo artist. Born and lives in Moscow (1966). He graduated from the philological department of Moscow State University (1988), and held a prose seminar by Andrey Bitov at the Literary Institute (1992). Finalist of the NOS Award (2014). Since 1996 - in documentary films. Author and director of over sixty documentaries. Winner of domestic and international film festivals. As a novelist, it was first published in 1997 - the story "Kalugadwa".
