Description
To change the perception of physics as a difficult and boring subject among young people, the Korean Physical Society and the Korea Science Creative Foundation have decided to create a series of physics textbooks that are easy to understand and highly entertaining. This is the "Seeing Physics Clearly" series.
This book is the first in the "Seeing Physics Clearly" series, with the theme "Force and Motion". It aims to complement the educational process that only provides fragmented knowledge and to cultivate students' comprehensive insight in the field of mechanics.
The book is co-authored by three physics professors and three science teachers.
Author
Established in 1952, the Korean Physical Society is dedicated to the application and popularization of physics. After 66 years of development, it now has 11 specialized divisions, seven branches, and over 6,000 members, making it the top-tier academic society in Korea.
In addition to regularly publishing four academic journals—"New Physics", "Journal of the Korean Physical Society (JKPS)", "Current Applied Physics (CAP)", and "Physics and High-Tech"—the society also publishes physics experiment textbooks and publications on physical terminology.
