Feature

★Learn about Alexander de Rhodes, Savassorda, Fibonacci, Steven, Descartes, Fermat, Pascal, Newton, Lehopier, Sanderson, Maclaurin, Euler...and many others who solved the mysteries of mathematics.
★This book is divided into twenty lessons, arranged in chronological order by the birth date of the "teacher" delivering each lesson. Additionally, there is a brief note at the beginning of each lesson that includes teaching activities, comments, and teaching evaluations.

Description

Studying the works of mathematical masters can make up for the lack of effort and is now everyone's wish: Pythagorean theorem, solving equations and systems of equations, determining the area of a circle and the volume of a pyramid, differential and integral calculations, the probability distribution of random events... These mathematical puzzles have puzzled top scientists for centuries and are a fundamental component of scientific culture. In this manual, you can read many original works written by masters who have made outstanding contributions to the construction of beautiful and complex mathematics: Euclid of Alexandria and the Pythagorean theorem; Savassorda and the solution of second-degree equations; Leonardo of Pisa - Fibonacci - and the Pythagorean triplet; Simon Stevin and the drawing of ellipses; Descartes and analytic geometry; Fermat and the parabola, hyperbola, and series of the second degree; Pascal and arithmetic triangles; Newton and the calculation of areas; the hospital and the limit of calculus; Sanderson and algebraic problems; Michael Lahlin and the Cramer's rule; Euler and arithmetic series; Simpson and the second degree problem; Clausen and the volume of pyramids; Maria Agnesi and poetry; Laplace and probability; Cauchy and derivatives; Broughton and Bouguer with graphical solutions of equations; Rusche with systems of linear equations...
