Description

Her name is Gloria Macfin. She is a typical teenager with common problems of her age. And she has 50 days to decide whether she lives or dies. “Never did I think to write a story to justify suicide as a solution of all problems. Not at all. I assume every person contemplated suicide at least once in his/her life. When we feel bad, when we are depressed, when we have quarrels with our beloved we might have an idea that there is no sense to live this way. People will be better off without us. This idea appeared in the mind of the main character of my story. Here I will describe 50 days of Macfin's life. These days will help her decide whether it is worth living or not,” – the author says.
The book sparked a massive public outcry. Trying new experiences gives Gloria a sense of having lived a full and meaningful life. She learns the ways to cope with difficulties, and keeping a diary helps the girl to evolve emotionally. She gets zest for life. This is the story of Gloria’s life after she stages her suicide.
