Description

A follow up to the highly successful Drama Games for Classrooms and Workshops. Jessica Swales provides invaluable insight and experience in a series of exercises and games designed to free up creativity and release the imagination.

After the success of the first book in NHB's new Drama Games series, Jessica Swale returns with another dip-in, flick-through, quick-fire resource book, packed with dozens of lively drama games that can be used in the process of devising and creating theatre. The games are aimed at school, youth theatre and community groups but also for directors and theatre companies at all levels who are creating new pieces of theatre from scratch and need lively, dynamic games to get the creative juices flowing.

Written with clear instructions on How to Play and notes on the Aim of the Game, the games cover every aspect of the devising process: creating characters and scenarios, using stimuli, improvising dialogue, structuring the piece, and creating an ensemble
