[Two strong leads + pursuit + scheming + exquisite push-and-pull, ABO]
Ji Chi is a top-tier Alpha — son of the richest man in Jiangcheng, a favored son of heaven, the man every Omega swoons over. Everyone assumes he will marry an Omega of matching standing. He assumes so too.
Then this top-tier Alpha starts dodging, day after day, an Omega with no pheromones at all — and things take an increasingly strange turn.
Friend 1: "Pathetic. You're an Alpha, and you're scared of him?"
Friend 2: "What kind of Omega is 1.89 meters tall?"
Ji Chi: Is it possible that he isn't an Omega?
—— A wealthy-family young-master Alpha × a gentle, forbearing Enigma

Print-edition synopsis:
At first, Ji Chi can't stand the sight of Huo Jin. Later, to save the lives of everyone in Jiangcheng, Huo Jin plunges into the sea alone, carrying a fuel pump about to explode, and is gravely injured. Even the rebellious Ji Chi comes to want to fight side by side with him. "I admire you, and I take you as my benchmark — one day I will stand beside you on my own merit."
