Yuki Takeda
Born in Fukuoka in 1986, Yuki Takeda creates embroidery works primarily inspired by living creatures, employing the Bariyon stitch technique. Having been drawn to painting from a young age, she graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Musashino Art University and, after a brief hiatus from artistic creation, began producing embroidery, officially launching her career as an artist. In recent years, she has focused on large‑stitch embroidery that resembles painting, striving to capture unique expressions such as the flow of fur, the movement of muscles, the suppleness of the body, and the vibrant vitality of living beings. She photographs her subjects herself in the nature‑rich mountains of Nagano, continues her work at home, and exhibits her pieces at department stores, specialty shops, and events nationwide.
