Description

To make a pact with the devil is, above all, to lose a part of oneself…

To gain supernatural powers beyond comprehension, you will make the ocean your enemy. Throughout my life, I have crossed paths with countless extraordinary beings: men of fire, insect‑women, and even gods walking among mortals… But if I have learned one thing, it is that humanity endlessly needs to dream — so much so that its desires have materialised into very real fruits.

As a core mechanic of the world’s most popular manga, Devil Fruits have captivated millions across the globe for more than twenty‑five years. Discover for the very first time this complete unofficial encyclopaedia covering every one of these magic‑powered fruits, told through the life of the most famous adventurer of the Grand Line!

The world’s very first encyclopaedia of Devil Fruits is finally here! A mythical book from within the Grand Line universe, now yours to own! Veteran explorer Louis Arnote compiles, across more than 350 pages, every extraordinary fruit found across the seas.

Over 180 fruits gathered by the greatest writer of the four seas: Paramecia, Zoan, Logia, artificial types… Between myth and reality, past technology and dreams of the future, behold these exceptional fruits rendered in meticulous detail for the first time. Delve into analyses of their composition, and above all, immerse yourself in Louis Arnote’s unique personal stories for every citrus, berry and achene contained within this almanac. This is the ultimate book for fans of the legendary saga.

While Arnote is celebrated for his writing talent, one must not overlook the quality of his artwork! Far from being a book pirates would throw overboard out of boredom, the encyclopaedia features roughly 1 000 hand‑drawn illustrations that accompany our favourite storyteller’s educational adventures.

Includes over 200 original illustrations.

Le Mont Corvo: 915 000 YouTube subscribers, the benchmark channel for this subject!

Luxury production: nearly 400 colour pages, embossing, gilding, gilded page‑edges, bookmark ribbon, selective varnish and marbling.

Illustrations: Antoine G
A self‑taught draftsman, he began sketching the world from an early age. As a teenager he devoted himself to art, starting with traditional drawing before moving on to graphic tablet work. Now a web designer, he picked up his stylus once more to bring to life the magnificent botanical plates for Fruits du Démon.
