Feature

★A neuroscientist and an AI-choreographer join forces to reveal which human skills will truly matter as AI reshapes the workplace—and why knowing ourselves is the ultimate survival skill.

Description

In an era where our own usefulness is under scrutiny, what is true human competence?

We live in an age where Generative AI demonstrates professional-level capability in creative fields. AI agents are beginning to plan and execute clerical tasks, and physical AI is threatening manual labor roles. What work will be left for humans, and what roles will we play in the society of tomorrow?

As AI begins to replace humans in workplaces, this book offers a realistic examination of the skills once thought uniquely human. The authors argue that the value of creativity, communication, judgment, and experience is not absolute, but relative to each historical period. They pinpoint which skills will gain new importance as AI evolves through various stages, and identify which jobs and industries are likely to rise or fall.

Through an insightful dialogue between neuroscientist Kim Dae Shik and choreographer Kim Hye-yeon, the book provides a multidisciplinary perspective on the future significance of the human brain and body.

The authors suggest that as AI takes over more of our work, the more vital it becomes to truly know ourselves and find work we genuinely desire. In a world where AI has blurred the boundaries of professions and skills, passion and sincerity will become our most valuable resources. This is an essential read for anyone looking to go beyond simply "being good at their job" to maintaining human value and dignity in the modern workplace.
