Description

When Liang Yan was young, his father brought a teenage boy, Lin Qi, to live with him as a “study companion” – but in reality, Lin Qi was there to secretly monitor Liang Yan.

Liang Yan treated Lin Qi as his possession – gentle in front of others, but cold and controlling behind closed doors. In his classmate’s yearbook, he wrote “Most disliked: Lin Qi,” determined to get rid of him.

Lin Qi endured for years – self‑loathing, sickly, yet crazy and obsessive. He seemed dependent on Liang Yan, but deep down he was filled with hatred. In his own yearbook entry for Liang Yan, he wrote: “I hope you die.”

At 22, Lin Qi suddenly fled. Only then did Liang Yan realize he could no longer live without him…
