Description
Expanding the scope of street photography from its traditional reportage roots, here, photographers Joshua K. Jackson and Sean Tucker present a more interpretive and artistic approach to the genre. With the public space as your canvas and your camera as a tool for personal expression, you will learn to imbue your work with personal meaning and share your unique perspective on the world.
Packed with wisdom, encouragement, and striking imagery, this book will inflame your curiosity and creativity. Whether you are a seasoned street photographer or just starting out, The Art of Street Photography gives you the tools and ideas to elevate your images and show the ordinary everyday in extraordinary ways.
Author
Joshua K. Jackson is a photographer based in London, UK. He has published two monographs of his work, Sleepless In Soho (2020) and Modern Paradox (2022). Influenced by mono-no-aware, the Japanese concept of finding beauty in the transient nature of existence, his photographs explore how everyday elements on the street can transcend their initial forms and take on deeper significance.
