Description

When reality surpasses fiction, even Hollywood shudders: delve into the criminal stories that haunt the greatest classics of horror cinema.

What if movie monsters really existed? Hollywood's spotlight sometimes hides stories that are much darker than fiction. Hollywood Crimes Story explores the fascinating boundary between reality and imagination: fifteen cult films, from Spielberg's Jaws to The Entity, via The Exorcist and A Nightmare on Elm Street, revisited in the light of the real-life events that inspired them. A gripping journey into the heart of Hollywood's true crime.

A book that reveals what cinema does not show: the reality behind fiction, the crime behind the camera, and the truth behind fear.
