This is René's experience documenting the lives of pumas.
It offers a unique insight and close knowledge about the lives of these wild animals. The daily life of the pumas, their physical characteristics, behaviors, hunting skills, and social relationships are detailed. Additionally, it highlights the importance of respectful observation and peaceful coexistence with pumas, which is fundamental for promoting the conservation of this species and its habitat.

Author

Olaya Sanfuentes holds a degree in History, a Master of Arts from Georgetown University and a PhD in Art History. She is a professor at the Institute of History of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where she conducts research and teaching related to topics such as Material Culture and Latin American visual culture, as well as Cultural Heritage Studies and Public History. She has written books, book chapters and articles, and has been involved in several curatorial projects in museums in Chile.

Julio Antonio Blasco has a degree in Fine Arts. He is a graphic designer and an illustrator of children and young adult books. He has worked in printing presses, animation production companies and graphic and exhibition design studios. He makes book covers, posters, and picture and non-fiction books. He has a small publishing label and, in addition to illustrating for clients around the world, he co-owns, with his sister Lola, a bookstore and gallery specialized in illustration in Valencia, Spain, called Estudio 64.
