Description

In search of his missing subordinates, Wu Xie found an innocent boy named Li Cu who was implicated. The scar on the boy's back became the key for Wu Xie to solve the mystery of the ancient tomb in the desert. Under duress and temptation, Wu Xie took Li Cu along with the expedition team and ventured into the forbidden desert death zone - the ancient city of Tongjing. Wu Xie, Wang Meng and Li Cu were led by the legendary moving lake to a vast white desert, where the ruins of a secret project were hidden. Surprisingly, this modern project was built according to an ancient map from over 1,900 years ago.
The vanished people in the photos, the unexpected figures in the camera, the trucks surrounding the lake, the destroyed camera, the mummies under the sand dunes... In the desolate desert, what will Wu Xie and his team discover? Can the appearance of the black glasses save anyone? And who will survive to leave?
In this book, Wu Xie collates the fragmented stories of the Nine Families from various retellings, recording the past he has learned about the Old Nine Families. Through words and pictures, he traces and restores the era, the people and the events of the Old Nine Families that he has come to know. Therefore, the complete story of the Old Nine Families originated from this notebook, and it was from here that vivid characters like Zhang Qishan and Er Yuehong began to emerge.
