Description
One is a “criminal” accused of disrupting public order; the other is an official sworn to uphold it. And so begins Yun Qingyan’s tearful life in detention. To make the most of her imprisonment, she volunteers for “community service” and becomes Censor Wen’s part-time assistant, helping him investigate the dynasty’s most notorious case: the “Serial Murders of All Trades.”
But Wen Qingfeng is less interested in his official duties than in protecting rare animals — making Yun Qingyan’s help all the more essential.
After countless challenges, the truth finally emerges. The killer is revealed to be a woman of unearthly beauty… who looks strangely familiar? Now, Wen Qingfeng must confront both love and betrayal. How will he choose?
