Description

“The Magic of the Brain and the Labyrinths of Life” depicts life in the mid-20th century, the formation of the fascinating discipline of human brain science, and the individuals who, through brief encounters at scientific forums or close collaborations in daily work, enriched our understanding of the human brain—the most complex structure on Earth—with their ideas and labor.

The book decodes the principles of brain activity in both health and disease, as well as the applicability of these principles in medical and social contexts. It also explores success and challenges, the study of humanity’s highest ability—creativity—and puzzles that have perplexed humankind since ancient times yet remain unsolved.
