Foreword
This book all started with a little girl who got a pimple. The story unfolds over the course of a single day, depicting the everyday scenes the girl navigates and the emotional rollercoaster she goes through, all because of that tiny blemish.
The original prototype for this story comes from my own personal experience: once, I got a pimple right on my nose and tried every trick in the book to hide it. I had to attend classes and meet up with friends, and during those few days, I went through the exact same scenarios depicted in the book. I constantly relied on various "little props" to cover up that pimple until it finally faded away. So, throughout the entire creative process of "Little Red Dot", I poured my own inner feelings into the main character. I believe everyone has gone through something similar—and it's not just about pimples, but all those other trivial little hassles in life. I wanted to convey a lighthearted and humorous way of dealing with them, because these little annoyances are actually just part of life. When we look back on them later, they don't seem so heavy after all; they are just brilliant little interludes in our daily lives.
And that's how "Little Red Dot" got its mischievous ending—who knows what might happen next? When we approach things with a calm mind and an optimistic attitude, everything can be lighthearted and wonderful!
To you, who sometimes encounters little worries in life: relax, and love life!
