Feature

★ Through comics, the author helps readers understand what the adult world looks like in the eyes of children.
★The writer emphasized the need for courage to face his true self by making readers realize that escape is not the answer in a world where light and darkness coexist through cartoons.
★In order not to break up the family because of himself, the main character, Yeji, begins to look for his mother's shadow. She stepped on the shadow of the escape and brought them back to their original owners, but found the "dark side" of the original owner, who was different from the outside, and realized that darkness was hidden inside her.
★ Whether it is a child or an adult, there are times when they want to escape from reality when they encounter difficulties. In his work, this is described as escaping from his own "shadow". But the "shadow" is yourself, and if you continue to escape, you can only lose yourself completely.

Description

Children grow up through the bonds of family and friends. For children, family harmony is an indicator of happiness, parents are the window to see the world, but also define their own standards. However, if the parents' relationship is not harmonious or the family environment is unstable for any reason, the child believes that it is his responsibility.

One day, my mother's "shadow" disappeared.
In order to get her mother back, a girl's wonderful shadow stepping game begins!
The main character, Yeji, is a 10-year-old girl who is not good at studying and has no friends. One day, Yeji peeped at her parents' quarrel, saw her mother's shadow escape through a crack in the window, and began to look for the shadow. While searching for his mother's shadow, he happened to meet the talking cat "Road" and learned through "Road" that more than just his mother's shadow had disappeared. Naturally, Chaeyun, who often isolates her at school, her shadow disappeared from her body one day. At that time, Chaeyun, a top student, was actually stressed out by studying and gradually became tired. Yeji stepped on Chaeyun's "shadow" and helped Chaeyun return to her side, and the two reconciled and eventually became unique friends. Therefore, Yeji learned that "shadow" is not only a part of a person, but also a heart that wants to escape reality. Yeji stepped on the shadow of the escape and brought them back to the original owner, and found the "dark side" of the original owner, who was different from the outside, and realized that darkness was hidden inside himself. In addition, Yeji found out that he had a different talent for painting when he met his friend Kyungtae. And new ideas are born about "learning" that you once hated. I decided to study not only to win the competition but also to study for myself, and I gradually became close to my noisy friends and grew up in a positive way.
