Description

Elsa, the beautiful daughter of the late Duke of Brabant, is accused of murdering her brother. It's hard to believe, she seems so innocent and pure. But all the evidence speaks against her. There is even supposed to be an eyewitness. And Elsa? She says nothing and hardly defends herself. Her conviction seems almost certain...

Author

Petra Sprenger lives and works in Dresden. In 2013, the idea for a book series that explains the libretto of an opera in a simple way was born. All titles in the series are published by OPERNMOUTH, an independent small publishing house based in Dresden. Petra Sprenger writes, illustrates and publishes the small, handy opera explainers, which make it easier for children and others to access classical opera.
