Author
She is an illustrator and comic artist from Milan, who goes by the moniker "BlackBanshee." She has created several graphic novels featuring the character of the "BlackBanshee." Born in 1980, she graduated from the Busto Arsizio Art High School and attended the "Art & Information" illustration course in Milan. After working for several years in a graphic studio in the textile industry, since 2006, she has been collaborating with Italian and foreign publishers as a children’s illustrator. She has illustrated books such as "Fairy Mountain," the "Science Adventure" series, "Shiny Star Fairy," "Super Fairy Coloring Book," the "Puzzle" series, the "Animal Shapes" series, "Art Therapy: Fantasy World," "The Lucky Peddler," and "The Farmer and the Boggart," and other children’s books. However, with a passion for comics, she also began to explore this medium, and since 2014, she has been dedicated to creating comics. She has authored works such as "Midsummer Song," "Memoirs of a Cat Spirit," "Monsters and Yokai—A Survival Guide to Folklore," as well as the albums "Ellefolk Mundi" and "Snapshots of a Cat Spirit." She is somewhat misanthropic but loves nature and all forms of life, and strives to respect them.
