Description

The Havel is the lifeline of very different landscapes. Therese Schneider follows the course of the river from its source via Berlin and Potsdam to the actual Havelland in western Brandenburg. It shows the most attractive cities and landscapes along the river, including the UNESCO World Heritage castles and gardens in Potsdam and the city of Brandenburg with its unique ambience. The diverse excursion and travel guide gives numerous tips on gastronomy, farm shops, crafts, relaxation, health, water-related activities, hiking tips, recommendations for cyclists and for families with children.
