Description
The book is divided into eight chapters, each focused on a different topic. Little Bernie and his faithful dog Ben will take you back in time to explore the American continent with Christopher Columbus, to travel around China with Marco Polo, or to conquer the South Pole with Roald Amundsen.
You will also venture into space and study the Egyptian pyramids or seven wonders of the ancient world.
Author
Oldřich Růžička studied at Faculty of Education and worked as teacher for a few years. Before he decided to found his own publishing house, he worked many years as a chief-editor and publisher of a big Czech publishing house. Later his publishing house became a part of Albatros Media. He is highly successful author of children’s literature whose books have been translated into many languages.
About the Illustrator
Zuzana Musilová gained a BcA. degree at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Brno. She now works as a nursery teacher. She worked with B4U on the illustrations for the children’s Atlas of the World. In recent years she has been active in various fields of art.
