Description

“Friends…Fur-fan!" tells a story of solidarity and cooperation, which stems from an extraordinarily strong initial dislike due to a lack of knowledge.

In the big forest, everything runs quietly, except in the area near house number 5 of the Firefly Trail. In fact, the residents of the Big Oak have long let bickering and resentment characterise their relationships, without bothering to seek a solution.

On the ground floor live the Stings, a family of hedgehogs. Busy when night falls, they would like to rest during the day, but are unable to do so because of the unbearable noise made by Mr Oreste Slam, a woodpecker who lives on the first floor with his wife. He drills into the trunk with his beak all the time, jangling the neighbours' already
strained nerves. The Slams in turn complain about the out-of-tune concerts the Stings put on every day, snoring like trombones, and about the mess they make at night when they wake up.

The upper floors of the Great Oak are the exclusive domain of an owl, Professor Orlando Sage. Rapacious by nature, cultured by passion, he tries not to get involved in quarrels between neighbours. When a red mark appears on the trunk of the tree, the Stings and the Slams accuse each other, prisoners of a vision limited by resentment and prejudice.
Soon, however, it will become clear to everyone the true nature of that mark: not a defacement but the threat of a catastrophe, the felling of the Great Oak.
The condominiums will realise the need for dialogue, confrontation and joining forces to save their home.
Each will contribute to the common cause, bringing a unique and special touch, which will prove indispensable.
And this will bring a new awareness to the inhabitants of the Big Oak: an enemy can become a friend; you just have to get to know him.
