Description

Trade is one of the oldest economic concepts that is applicable to all consumers. In this book, readers learn about how the buying and selling of goods is critical for the growth of an economy. Real-world examples of how trade has changed over time are also presented, including facts focused on pandemic-era impacts. Colorful and clear graphics, such as maps, charts, and infographics, give readers an alternative to text-heavy sources. Action-based activities leave students with an understanding of how trade is a part of their daily lives. This book also includes a glossary, index, suggested reading and websites, and a bibliography.

Author

Before embracing a career as an author, Christina received a graduate degree in 19th century British literature (because who doesn’t love Jane Austen?). She knew she had a passion for both education and the written word and discovered that educational publishing is the perfect blend of both. When she is not writing on a variety of subjects from science to Shakespeare, Christina can be found hiking, mastering yoga handstands, or curled up with a classic novel and her third cup of coffee. Christina lives in sunny Southern California with her husband, two sons, and her Instagram famous dog, Pepper Riley.
