In autumn 2022, after long debates, the Freedom and Unity Monument in Berlin will finally be inaugurated. Under the motto "Citizens on the Move", the kinetic monument in front of the Humboldt Forum, which is unique in the world, commemorates the courageous people who made German unity possible with the Peaceful Revolution of 1989. A huge walk-in shell invites everyone to join forces to set the construct, which weighs tons, in motion.
