Feature

★A book that allows boys and girls to understand the ecosystems of eight forests in the world with their flora and fauna.

Description

It is estimated that the world has lost between 7 and 11 million hectares of forests in the last 300 years. And, given the great problem of accelerating climate change, knowing more about the flora and fauna that inhabit them is crucial to conserving an ecosystem without which our existence would be threatened. From the humid Valdivian jungle to the icy boreal forest, together we will explore 8 forests around the world that account for a universe of different and unique forms of life: ancient trees, giant insects and tiny mammals are some of the protagonists of this adventure.
In this excursion-in-a-book, we will explore together eight forests from around the world, which represent a universe of distinct and unique life forms. These are not common forests, as they represent the most impressive planetary biodiversity.

This book rescues the 8 most representative forests in terms of biodiversity and importance in the world
Forests you will find in this book: Valdivian jungle, Madagascar Forest, Atlantic Forest, African Rain Forest, New Guinea Rainforest, California Forest, South China Temperate Forest, Boreal Forest
It helps to understand the relationship between flora and fauna of the different ecosystems, the different types of forests, where they are found and the conservation status of the species

Glossary of terms specific to the area
