Feature

The first and most important university textbook on the professions concerned with palliative care.

Description

Article 8 paragraph 1 of Law 38 of March 15 2010, ‘Provisions to ensure access to palliative care and pain therapy’, introduced, for the first time in Italy, special lectures on all degree courses for professions working in palliative care units (doctors, nurses, psychologists, social workers and so on). Over the next few years, degree and postgraduate courses will thus have to guarantee specific teaching on the subject. This book, written by the leading Italian student of the sector, represents the first and most important manual on the market for university and university-level students.
