Description

Icons of the photographic history of Berlin, like the East German soldier leaping to freedom, the airlift, and the fall of the Berlin Wall, but also including the Nazi torchlight parade and Goebbels calling for total war.
Together with great classical paintings, such as Friedrich the Great playing the flute and the smokestacks at Borsig’s factory. Berlin’s history from its founding to the present day, told in stunning photos and a clear, lively style by one of the top experts on Berlin.
