Paula Merlán (Vigo, 1979) is a Spanish award-winning author. She graduated in Law and Education. Currently, she combines writing with teaching, her two passions. She has published more than twenty children's books, many of them translated into several languages such as Galician, Basque, Catalan, English, Italian, French and Korean. Her most important books are The Bizzies and For You.

Brenda Figueroa was born in El Salvador, a land of volcanoes, coffee plantations, and exuberant nature. She discovered her artistic vocation by watching her father work on the drawing board, as well as through books, cartoons, and children's games. After graduating as a graphic designer and working in advertising, she moved to Madrid to train as an illustrator. In the last decade, she has collaborated with publishers in the United States and Europe, on various picture book projects and educational books.
