Author

Alex S. Girard is a multidisciplinary artist. Whether through sculpture, illustration, writing, sport or events, he seeks to bring others to question their relationship to reality. Curious and turned on, this polymath enjoys sharing his knowledge of the fascinating universe of creation. This jack-of-all-trades is, among others, the author of the series Les Goblards and L’Intemporel, published by Édiligne. He has also designed three books with Bryan Perro, including Fantastic Creatures of Quebec.

Originally from Lac-Saint-Jean and trained at Collège Ahuntsic in graphic design, Rig works and lives in the Capitale-Nationale. Self-taught artist touching on different styles, he admits to drawing since always… or almost. According to him, a radioactive pencil would have stung him at an early age. He published his first children's book with Édiligne editions in 2018, Le gros chat bleu: The Adventurer of the Cardboard Box, written by his then 7-year-old son Gaël. A collection then follows.
