“The settings of Seven Days are mostly cave and jungle. I gave it to my daughter when the outline was done, and she told me ‘I hate adventure story the most’.
So I keep reminding myself that-‘don’t turn it into an adventure story’,
what I wanted to write was about human nature, not cave and jungle.
She read it as I was writing it, and she already finished reading the moment I’ve done it. She said, ‘I hate adventure story, but this is the best I’ve ever read.” ——by Khor Ewe Pin
