Description
- What is the art's role?
Written by Shin Yeonho l Illustrated by Cho Seungyeon Unlike his twin brother Jio, Taeo thinks art is boring and worthless. One day he meets a cat at the museum’s pagoda, and it leads him to Italy where the artist Michelangelo lives. Taeo’s mission is to help Michelangelo complete the Sistine chapel’s ceiling. Taeo hears that the Pope has fallen ill, which may prevent Michelangelo from completing the ceiling. As recommended by the cat, Taeo advices the Pope to “continue doing as before” and gradually the Pope recovers. As a result, Michelangelo can continue on his painting. Awestruck by Michelangelo’s art and other Roman works, Taeo comes to appreciate arts and understand his brother Jio.
