★Luciano Canova, postdoctoral researcher at the Paris School of Economics, master’s supervisor, and “professor of the economics of happiness”, explains the economics in fairy tales in a unique way.
★You may understand economics as well! Actually, you will certainly master the knowledge of economics!

Description

People talk about the economy a lot in newspapers, on the radio and the internet, and in bars, always like this.

Economics is widely regarded as a pathetic and punishing science. But is that true? This book begins by clearing up this misconception, showing that economics is actually an exciting subject.

To do this, Luciano Canova, an economist specializing in quality of life and happiness, decided to talk about economics through the unusual but very familiar fairy tales and myths of the past and present to all of us!

The book illustrates the central bank’s monetary policy through Alice in Wonderland; the investment choices of the stepmother in Cinderella; the cognitive bias in Little Red Riding Hood, the public debt incurred by the Death Star spacecraft in Star Wars and the cost to the Empire of maintaining it; the so-called “PIIGS”, a derogatory term used by international bond analysts, academics and the international economic media for the five European economies with lower sovereign bond credit ratings) through The Three Little Pigs.

Luciano Canova makes it clear to everyone about economics with humorous and sarcastic expressions. Moreover, the perfect combination of theory and practice offers useful advice to readers.
