Description

What to do when your worst fears, your most sinister nightmares, your bitterest memories crouch next to you, behind the next door, or sleep next to you, in your same bed?
Little did Camilo, a highly successful literary novelist, although of low literary height, imagine that the discovery of a key hidden inside a pistol that belonged to his father was going to unleash a series of events that would reveal secrets of his closest people and himself. Little by little, the members of his family enter a hellish labyrinth from which they do not know how to escape ... perhaps because there is no way out.
In this black novel, choral and not exempt from social criticism, the characters are wrapped in an unstoppable spiral of violence in which each one shows himself as victim and executioner, where the chiaroscuro of the human soul emerges with all its splendor and also shows its darker side.

Author

Ana Ballabriga and David Zaplana met in Valencia when they were studying in the Unversity. Their shared passion for the art of storytelling led them to spin and write their first novel. A few years later they also entered the field of audiovisual creation and in 2006 founded their own production company, Visual DNA. After receiving several awards for short films and short stories, in 2007 they published the novel Tras el sol de Cartagena, and in 2010 Gothic Morbo.
After the sun of Cartagena it found a second life in Amazon. In 2016 they won with Ningún Escocés Verdadero, the Amazon Indie Award in 2016.
