Author

Dr Helen Pilcher is a science writer, presenter and performer based in the UK. She has written for Nature, the Guardian, BBC Focus and
New Scientist. She has a PhD in Cell Biology from the London Institute of Psychiatry and ran the Royal Society's Science in Society Program before becoming a full time writer. Her previous books include Bring Back the King: The New Science of De-extinction published by Bloomsbury Sigma.
