MATHIEU BENOIT
Illustrator

Mathieu Benoit studied graphic communication in Montreal and worked in print advertising. From 2005 to 2008, he was one of the leaders of the comic book author group Surpriz Comix, which published three collective albums and offered numerous animations across Quebec.

DANIELLE GOYETTE
Freelance journalist for over 20 years after having worked 8 years in the advertising field, Danielle Goyette has written a multitude of articles and reports in the encyclopedic, cultural, tourist and psychological fields for various Quebec magazines.

In 2002, she received the Press Prize at the Grands Prix du tourisme de la Montérégie and in 2007, the Prize for the Best Canadian Article in Family Tourism given by TMAC (Association of Journalists in Canadian Tourism). She was also one of six finalists at the 2008 Canadian Grand Prix Antor for the Best Article Award in International Tourism. She also received a few awards from the time she was a copywriter and director.

In 1983, she published the collection of short stories À fleur de peau, à fleur de coeur at La Maison des Mots. In 2005, the story L'Absent at Éditions JCL. In 2007, the novel Caramel mou by Éditions Guy Saint-Jean. This latest novel will be adapted for cinema by Marc-André Lavoie, co-director of the Quebec film Bluff
