Description

Ruchika Kawlra Motwani’s interaction this last decade, working with children and schools, led her to develop a curriculum which lets children express their thoughts, feeling and emotions through art. Exercises to make them more aware of their surroundings, sharpen their brains via puzzles and teach them about theory of art and the masters of art. All in a very fun and simple way. Every turn of a page, introducing them to completely new creative ideas. In her quest to share her vast knowledge of art and to empower children through creativity Ruchika has authored, illustrated and designed drawing activities planned to trigger both sides of the brain thereby create a thinking child.

The timing of the books is accurate. The learning and the teaching from the two decades of application of the various arts tools and advocacy of creativity at its core, these books meet the requirement of today’s child. One who is used to multitasking and receiving enormous amount of information at their fingertips. A child who is curious. A child who is used to more complex formats of interaction while using digital media. The element of surprise is maintained through the book.
These books tick all the boxes. Following her simple instructions, the children are able to go beyond their own canvas and discover the hidden latent artist within them. There is an empowering mystic liberated skill build up that the book is able to manifest in the reader. The motivation to seek the artist within is sustained throughout the book with the inclusion of a historic art perspective and simple messaging that catches the interest of the child. This manifests an educative anchor as the reader discovers the curation of Art through the ages.
