At a very young age, Luz Rello realized that her learning speed was not as fast as her classmates. There was something that prevented her from understanding what the teacher wrote on the card, but her friends could easily understand it. Over time, Luz realized that she was suffering from dyslexia. But she did not give up. She learned to deal with these difficulties and eventually became an expert in linguistics.
Growing up, as a researcher, Luz successfully developed a test to detect the risk of dyslexia. This was a real milestone.

This book is the story of Luz. When she was very young, she realized that she might be more difficult than others, but she believed in what she could change it. So she started this very important research project and contributed to creating a better world.

She studied Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona, to later specialize in illustration. Since then she has published more than twenty titles for children, youth and adults. Her work has been recognized with the 2013 Lazarillo Prize, Honorable Mention in the VI Ibero-American Catalog and selected twice in the Bologna Children's Book Fair, among others.
